Vinyasa Foundations at Yoga on the Lake

VINYASA FOUNDATIONS introduces new-to-yoga practitioners to the beauty of a Vinyasa flow. Through this workshop we will discuss and explore foundational postures, develop a deeper connection to breath while learning the language of yoga. We will bring our practice together as we warm and move the body through a 75 minute slow flow.
The ancient practice of yoga encourages self-exploration through body, mind and spirit. Many who practice yoga say that it is a positive, transforming experience that welcomes abundance, joy and spiritual connection to one's daily life. GLOGA for Autism Awareness at Yoga on the Lake

Let’s flow-in-the-dark to SHINE a light on Autism! Join us for this gentle/vinyasa yoga class held under black lights. Your donation will secure your spot and the required glow-shirt. All donations will go to the local Autism Society of the Lakeshore. Pick up your shirt in advance! Shirts are currently available in the Yoga on the Lake Boutique. Sizes are first come, first served. If your size is out of stock, we’ll order more - register by Wednesday, April 4 to guarantee it’s available for pick up on April 11 or 12.

Using a foam roller and tennis balls, learn the most effective techniques to reduce muscle tension, improve flexibility and mobility, and reduce joint pain specific for each muscle linked to corresponding yoga postures and breathing techniques. Get even deeper into postures releasing muscle tension beforehand through self-massage.
Toddler Yoga with Meggan at Yoga on the Lake

Join Meggan and Evie for a special Earth Day Bitty Buddha’s class on Sunday, April 22 from 3-3:45pm. Bitty Buddhas is a 45-minute action packed class that is filled with excitement. Explore new breathing techniques and celebrate the earth as we move through earth inspired yoga poses. Enjoy partner poses with your little that is bound to make you smile and laugh. A fun game will be played, along with a beautiful story and coloring page. The benefits of yoga apply to yogis of any age. Practicing yoga embraces compassion and cooperation with others as well as builds strength, flexibility and improves balance. All levels of yoga experience are welcome! Daily Activities at River Wildlife
Nearly 300 acres are maintained in a natural state and are perfect for self-guided hiking and seasonal cross-country skiing. Trails wind throughout the preserve and afford the privilege of viewing wildlife firsthand. Guest passes are required.
Shooting Sports at River Wildlife
Sharpen your shooting skills on either our Trap or 5-Stand clay shooting courses. Trap is geared towards the beginner while 5-Stand is set up for the more experienced shooter. Equipment and instruction are available. Reservations available from 8am to 3pm.

Self-Guided Fishing at River Wildlife
Some of the best fishing in the state is available in the fall and spring as trout and salmon make their way upstream in the Sheboygan River. Anglers must provide their own fishing gear and applicable licenses. Guest passes are required.
